Nasr brengt Sauber bijna in derde kwalificatiedeel

Felipe Nasr heeft het team van Sauber bijna in Q3 gebracht tijdens de kwalificatie voor de Grand Prix van Australië. De Braziliaan reed zich naar de elfde startplaats en deelt hiermee de zesde rij met Max Verstappen.

"Als team kunnen we tevreden zijn dat we bijna Q3 hebben gehaald", aldus Nasr. "Het feit dat we vrijdagochtend de eerste sessie misten, heeft tot op zekere hoogte invloed gehad op de prestaties van de auto en daarnaast had ik minder tijd om de baan te leren kennen."

"Al met al ben ik tevreden met het resultaat en ik kijk ontzettend uit naar de race. Morgen wordt een belangrijke dag, want ik rijd mijn eerste Formule 1-race ooit. We gaan ons best doen om punten te scoren."
