Nasr voorziet lastige periode na Barcelona

Barcelona kan een keerpunt betekenen voor Sauber. Dat zegt Felipe Nasr, coureur van het team. De Zwitserse renstal heeft tot dusver verrast qua snelheid en resultaten, maar volgens de Braziliaan is het einde van deze goede reeks in zicht.

Volgens Nasr zullen veel teams namelijk hun auto's updaten in Spanje: "Ik weet niet of wij daarna nog zo dicht bij de punten zitten. Het wordt een grote uitdaging om onze huidige positie bij te benen, maar realistisch gezien wisten wij dat het seizoen na een tijdje erg lastig zou worden."

De Braziliaan bevestigt dat Ferrari in Spanje met een update komt voor haar motor: "Daarnaast zal Sauber zich vooral aerodynamisch proberen te verbeteren. We hebben een nieuwe voorvleugel ingevoerd in China, maar die werkte helaas niet zo goed als verwacht. Deze is aangepast voor Barcelona en op deze manier hopen wij extra snelheid te winnen."

Tussen de regels door meen ik te lezen dat het potje voor doorontwikkeling van de auto bij Sauber helemaal op is.
