Palmer bij alle resterende Europese GP's in actie

Jolyon Palmer zal bij de komende vijf Formule 1-weekenden op de vrijdag in actie komen in de eerste vrije training. De test- en reserverijder van Lotus neemt bij alle resterende Grands Prix in Europa plaats in de E23. Het is voor Romain Grosjean te hopen dat Pastor Maldonado zijn auto ook eens af wil staan, anders zal de Fransman steeds plaats moeten maken voor Palmer.

De eerstvolgende sessie is in Oostenrijk, waar hij in de week na de Grand Prix ook een testdag voor zijn rekening zal nemen. Palmer: "Ik verheug me erop om weer in de auto te kruipen voor de eerste training en de test in Oostenrijk. We spreidden een goed tempo tentoon in Canada, we hebben dus goede vorderingen geboekt sinds mijn vorige optreden, bij de test in Barcelona."

"Ik doe de eerste training bij alle resterende Europese Grands Prix. Die circuits komen me allemaal bekend voor, ik ken ze uit de GP2 van vorig jaar. Natuurlijk is Silverstone mijn favoriete baan, het is mijn thuisrace. Het circuit, het publiek en de sfeer zijn geweldig. Maar ook Boedapest, waar ik vaak goede resultaten behaald heb, en Monza kunnen me bekoren."
