Mercedes open voor discussie over motorregels

Mercedes is bereid om te discussiëren over het toestaan van updates aan de aandrijflijn tijdens het seizoen. Dat is dit jaar mogelijk door een maas in de wet, maar voor 2016 is 28 februari als deadline ingesteld. Dan dienen alle motorleveranciers hun pakket gehomologeerd te hebben. Zoals het er nu voor staat is het niet mogelijk om daarna nog iets aan de performance te doen.

Dat is Renault, Honda en Ferrari een doorn in het oog. Het enige probleem is dat unanimiteit vereist is om het nog aan te passen, dus ze moeten het dominante Mercedes aan hun zijde krijgen. De Duitse autofabrikant is de beroerdste niet en heeft begrip voor de standpunten van de concurrentie.

Mercedes-motorsportbaas Toto Wolff deelde aan Autosport mede: "We staan open voor een discussie over de regels zoals die er nu liggen. We begrijpen dat Renault en Honda zich in een moeilijke situatie bevinden. We moeten dit met elkaar bespreken. Kostenbesparingen zijn nog altijd een heet hangijzer in de Formule 1 en updates aan de motor gedurende het jaar gaan mogelijk gepaard met extra kosten."

    Hier heeft Mercedes al heel goed over nagedacht, die gaan hun eigen dominantie toch niet opgeven zeker. Ze willen zich gewoon in een goed daglicht steken tegenover de andere teams.

    Ram gewoon een V10 erin en al die dure elecktronisch troep eraf wat doen ze toch moeilijk niemand zit te wachten op die bende van nu en stop dat sterretje maar waar de zon niet schijnt

    "De Duitse autofabrikant is de beroerdste niet en heeft begrip voor de standpunten van de concurrentie", tot nu toe hebben ze alleen maar dwars gelegen. Ze mogen dan wel zeggen begrip te hebben, maar wat lost dit op? De Fia moet ervoor zorgen dat de unanimiteit niet meer nodig is. Updates tijdens het seizoen lossen niets op, want ook Mercedes kan updates uitvoeren. Als men de F1 echt spannender wil maken, dan moeten ze het anders aanpakken.

    LIMBOF1 ze moeten de teams ook geen zeggen schap geven als ze niet oppassen heeft het sterretje het zomenteen het voor het zeggen en elk team wat met een mecedes motor rijd heeft zijn mondt dicht te houden voorbeeld dat het tanken weer terug kwam mercedes roept gelijk dat het te duur is kom op nou :(

    Als ik het artikel zo lees wil Mercedes geen verandering van regels. Als reden geven ze aan dat updates aan de motor extra kosten met zich mee zal brengen, terwijl er kosten moeten worden gespaard.

    Mercedes wil nu wellicht nog geen verandering, maar ze zijn ook niet dom daar. Ook Mercedes kan een mispeer begaan in de toekomst. Zou toch zuur zijn als ze dan vastzaten aan hun eigen stijfkoppigheid.

    Stelletje.... Dat gezeur over Mercedes... Waarom zou een bedrijf een concurrent helpen om zo een groter marktaandeel te krijgen. Dit probleem komt hoofdzakelijk door de FIA en Eikelsteen.
