Ricciardo blijft 'zeker weten' bij Red Bull Racing

Daniel Ricciardo verdedigt ook volgend seizoen nog de eer van Red Bull Racing. Daar is Red Bull-motorsportadviseur Helmut Marko van overtuigd. Ricciardo mag dan gefrustreerd raken met de huidige vorm van zijn werkgever, maar zijn contract loopt gewoon door.

In Canada doken geruchten op dat de Australiër in beeld is voor het zitje dat Kimi Raikkonen bemant bij Ferrari. Marko wuift die speculatie weg in Sport Bild. "Daniel heeft een waterdicht contract bij ons voor 2016. De verhalen dat hij weg wil berusten niet op enige waarheid."

"Ricciardo blijft zeker weten bij Red Bull Racing", is Marko stellig. De hoofdpersoon zelf is ook niet bezig met een transfer. "Ik keer volgend jaar als coureur van Red Bull Racing terug in Montreal en dan zien we wel hoe het dan gaat", citeert The Telegraph hem.

    Hoe harder ze roepen dat ze blijven des te dichter hij bij een contract met Ferrari is....hoewel ik Ricciardo nou niet bepaald indruk vind maken dit jaar...Kvyat wordt bekritiseerd maar die is de laatste races toch wel sterker...ik denk dat Max volgend jaar nog een jaartje bij STR zit en Sainz doorschuift naar RBR...het jaar erop kan max dan mooi aansluiten bij RBR

      Tsja... van Vettel riepen ze een jaar geleden ook zeker te zijn dat die gewoon wel bij Red Bull zou blijven.

      We weten wat daarvan gekomen is.

      Hoewel de contractsituaties mogen verschillen weten we ook wat contracten in de F1 waard zijn. En of Red Bull in zijn huidige vorm überhaupt met een gefrustreerde rijder door wil moeten gaan kun je jezelf ook nog eens afvragen.

      @Mojito... ze zijn misschien niet veel waard maar altijd nog wel meer dan ene mevrouw Kaltenborn dacht... maar ja, die kwam er uiteindelijk nog mee weg ook, dus je hebt een punt.

      Ja dat denk ik ook....Sainz door naar RBR....Max nog 1 jaartje STR. Ricciardo naar Williams en Bottas naar Ferrari.

    Ik zie RedBull eerlijk gezegd vertrekken. Nieuw talent wordt niet aangetrokken en veranderingen blijven. Redbull staat al lang in de etelage. Het zal verdwijnen of in afgezwakte vorm, als ondersteunend partner, verdergaan.

    Ik denk niet dat Vettel dit zou willen, al geeft hij aan geen problemen met Ricciardo te hebben. En de coureurs hebben op vandaag zoveel zaken in een contract opgenomen, dat daar ook wel zal in staan dat bepaalde coureurs niet welkom zijn. Ik heb geen hoge pet op van Ricciardo en zou het wel interessant vinden, want ik denk dat we dan gaan zien dat Vettel de betere van de twee is.

    Als ik Ferrari was, had ik 3 mannen op het verlanglijstje staan : Bottas, Ricciardo en Verstappen. Vettel zou echter liever niet Ricciardo weer naast zich hebben, met het risico op een herhaling van 2014.

    Verstappen is in 2016 nog net wat te onervaren voor Ferrari denk ik, en bovendien vastgespijkerd bij Red Bull/Torro Rosso. Bottas is denk ik de enige realistische kans hebber als Raikonnen de zak krijgt. In dat geval zie ik Hulkenberg naar Williams gaan. Voor Ricciardo zou de transfer Red Bull -> Williams te weinig vooruitgang bieden om het risico te nemen.

      Als Renault er inderdaad uitstapt volgend jaar, dan is RBR ook weg, of zij hebben een deal nodig met Ferrari of Mercedes voor motoren. In dat geval is het niet geheel ondenkbeeldig dat Max als onderhandelingsmiddel wordt gebruikt voor een eventueel motorendeal.
