Levensgrote Formule 1-auto voor opa Verstappen

Sinds kort hangt er een Formule 1-auto bij Dancing Housmans te Montfort. Daar kunnen Formule 1-liefhebbers samen met de opa van Max Verstappen elke Grand Prix naar de race kijken. Frans Verstappen doet dat sinds het begin van dit seizoen en uit alle hoeken van het land stromen steeds meer fans naar Montfort. Nu met een levensgrote Formule 1-wagen voor de deur.

"Echt ontzettend mooi", zegt Frans Verstappen op www.verstappen.nl over de nagemaakte auto. Het chassis van de van oorsprong als bloemenauto bekend staande bolide is door de makers aan de opa van Max Verstappen geschonken en daar is hij ze nog altijd dankbaar voor. "Samen met die mensen uit Noord-Holland en lokale supporters van Max is de auto overgeschilderd."

Frans claimt niet met voorbedachte rade de Red Bull-kleurstelling gehanteerd te hebben. "Nee, deze kleuren vind ik gewoon mooier", zegt hij lachend. "Geweldig hoe de Formule 1 weer leeft in Nederland. Max maakt heel wat los. We gaan er zondag weer een gezellige middag van maken, net zoals we tijdens de resterende races zullen doen." De entree is zoals altijd gratis.
