Force India mist de tweede training in Hongarije

Het team van Force India slaat de tweede vrije training voor de Hongaarse Grand Prix over. De Indiase renstal wil eerst de oorzaak voor de crash van Sergio Perez uit de eerste sessie tot op de bodem uitzoeken. De wielophanging rechtsachter begaf het bij de Mexicaan.

Perez schoot pardoes over de baan, kwam hard in aanraking met de vangrails en sloeg over de kop. De VJM08 van de Mexicaan was dusdanig beschadigd dat hij sowieso niet in actie zou komen in de tweede training, maar het team houdt ook Nico Hülkenberg aan de kant. Het onderzoek naar de oorzaak is nog gaande en Force India neemt het zekere voor het onzekere.
