Williams-coureurs blij met nieuwe achtervleugel voor FW32

Williams-coureurs Rubens Barrichello en Nico Hülkenberg zijn opgewekt na de eerste vrije trainingen in Monaco. De upgrades voor de FW32, waaronder een nieuwe achtervleugel, lijken een positieve uitwerking te hebben. Hülkenberg: Het voelt alsof we een stap voorwaarts gezet hebben, de nieuwe achtervleugel levert absoluut meer grip.

Williams had nog maar één nieuwe achtervleugel klaar, een tweede is op komst en zou op tijd moeten zijn voor de derde vrije training. Barrichello: Ik reed in de eerste training met de nieuwe achtervleugel, in de tweede sessie was het de beurt aan Nico. De eerste tekenen zijn veelbelovend en ik hoop meer competitief te zijn dan de afgelopen weekenden. Ik verheug me in elk geval op zaterdag.
