Ecclestone blij met wederopstanding van Ferrari

Bernie Ecclestone heeft de wederopstanding van Ferrari omschreven als hét hoogtepunt van 2015 voor hem. De Scuderia wist vorig jaar geen enkele race te winnen en gooide het roer in de winter radicaal om. Het resultaat mag er wezen, dit seizoen zegevierde Ferrari al drie keer.

Ecclestone stelt in Gazzetta dello Sport: "Het beste aan 2015 valt wat mij betreft met één woord samen te vatten, namelijk Ferrari. Dat zij weer weten te winnen is belangrijk voor mij en voor de Formule 1 als geheel. Dat viel ook wel te verwachten. De verrassing schuilt hem in hoe snel ze erin geslaagd zijn om het tij te keren."

"Ik steunde de transfer van Sebastian Vettel naar Ferrari en het gaf een fantastisch gevoel toen hij in Maleisië als eerste over de finish kwam. Er zijn veel coureurs die met goed materiaal kunnen winnen in plaats van anoniem rond rijden. Vettel heeft goede auto's tot zijn beschikking gehad, maar ook zelf veel toegevoegd aan de teams waar hij voor reed. Daarom schaar ik hem onder de vier beste rijders ooit, samen met Lewis Hamilton, Michael Schumacher en Fernando Alonso."

Zijn eerste kampioenschap een blunder van Ferrrar?
Wat een onzin, Massa deed wat hij moest doen in de beste auto dat seizoen, n.l. winnen in Brazilië. Wat had hij meer moeten doen dan?
Hamilton heeft dat jaar Ferrari in zijn eentje verslagen, en dat was gewoon een top prestatie.

    Ja!! Dit geloof ik wel. Want als Ferrari niet was gaan presteren was het een erg saai seizoen geworden,en dat scheelt hem weer aan inkomsten, het is en blijft een geldwolf.

    "De vier beste rijders ooit".....Ecclestone is seniel aan het worden. Hamilton hoort al zeker niet in dat rijtje thuis. Over Vettel en Alonso heb ik ook nog bedenkingen en Schumacher hoort daar zeker wel weer bij. Voor mij staan Vettel en Alonso misschien net in de top tien van beste coureurs, maar Hamilton zeker niet. Hamilton is voor mij eerder een coureur die in de top 20 thuis hoort. Zijn eerste wereldkampioenschap heeft hij feitelijk te danken aan een blunder van Ferrari, anders was Massa toen kampioen geworden. De laatste twee heeft hij aan een absurd machtige auto te danken en een teamgenoot die het net niet heeft.
    Ik ben als fan van Ferrari zeker ook blij dat ze 3 overwinningen hebben dit jaar en dat ze dichter bij Mercedes zijn gekomen. Ik hoop dat Ferrari ook de laatste race weet te winnen, dat zou een mooie afsluiter zijn.

      Hamilton heeft dat jaar Ferrari in zijn eentje verslagen, en dat was gewoon een top prestatie.
      Voor mij hoort hij absoluut bij de besten in de F1. 3 WK's, op twee na de meeste pole's en overwinningen, wat moet je nog meer.
      Jij moet hem niet, dat is wel duidelijk, maar de cijfers tonen dat het wel een top coureur is.

      Noch Hamilton, noch Massa verdiende dat jaar het kampioenschap. Beide hun jaren stonden bol van de fouten. Massa in Australië, Maleisië, Silverstone, Fuji en in mindere mate Monaco, Hamilton in Bahrein, Maleisië, Frankrijk, Fuji, Monaco (hoewel hem dat de zege opleverde), Canada. Kubica verdiende die titel, of Alonso in de tweede helft van het seizoen. Maar Hamilton had aan het einde van het seizoen het meeste punten, dus is terecht wereldkampioen.

      Ik denk dat Ecclestone zijn mening wel iets meer waarde heeft dan jullie mening.

      Ecclestone zei ook dat we sproeiers naast de baan moesten zetten en dat we de baan zoveel keer per race mochten afsnijden om het spannender te maken. Moeten we daar dan ook maar rekening mee houden omdat het Ecclestone is? Hij zegt dit gewoon om zijn huidige product te verkopen, niet meer niet minder.

      Nicos, singapore met het het incident in de pits. Ferrari gebruikte geen lolliepop man, maar lichten. Lichten gingen op groen terwijl er nog getankt werd. Dit werd overal beschreven als de blunder van Ferrari en heeft uiteindelijk Massa het kampioenschap gekost. Hij reed een fantastische race tot dit incident en had de race makkelijk kunnen winnen als Ferrari niet geblunderd had. En er werden nog wel wat foutjes door Ferrari gemaakt dat jaar, maar de cruciale was Singapore.

      Dat is toch gewoon onzin? Waarom heeft die fout Massa het kampioenschap gekocht als hij zelf in de eerste twee races knullig licht te rijden en punten ligt te vergooien?

    Massa met Ferrari zou gewoon kampioen geworden zijn als niet alleen Briatore maar ook Alonso gestraft zou zijn. Massa had gewoon het geluk niet aan zijn zijde maar hij had het wel verdiend dat beruchte jaar.

    Vrees dat de dementie toeslaat want hij is blijkbaar alles vergeten van voor 1990.
