Coureurs vinden bandenregels maar verwarrend

De internationale autosportbond FIA keurde deze week de nieuwe bandenreglementen voor 2016 goed. Coureurs kunnen volgend jaar elke Grand Prix kiezen uit drie compounds. Bandenleverancier Pirelli kwam met een waslijst aan punten om het een en ander te verduidelijken.

Alleen maakte de uitleg van de Italiaanse bandenfabrikant het er niet duidelijker op. Oud Formule 1-coureur Karun Chandhok: "Ik krijg al hoofdpijn als ik al deze regels lees." En Romain Grosjean voegde toe: "Tot nu toe zijn de nieuwe reglementen niet echt helder. Gelukkig heb ik een engineer om me te helpen."

    En wat moeten de fans hiervan denken? De meeste hardcore fans zullen er wel uitkomen maar dit zal de gemiddelde kijker wel afschrikken. En dat over banden. Goed bezig weer FIA, chapeau.

    Gisteren bleek op dit forum al dat wij er als fans ook niet veel van snappen. Heel fijn, hoe maak je je eigen sport te ingewikkeld? Nou zo dus.

    De formule 1 is net de EU kapot gereguleerd met een rubberen stoeptegel beleid.

    Ze hadden bij het oude systeem moeten blijven alleen hadden de teams en rijders de vrijheid moeten krijgen en hoe ze banden willen bevestigen. Dus als een coureur medium achter banden wilt en soft voorbanden moet dat gewoon kunnen. Alleen daar hadden ze een wijziging in moeten brengen. We gaan nu alleen maar conservatieve keuzes zien.

    haha wat een lachtertje dit. maken ze regels die zelfs de coureurs niet begrijpen. wat willen ze dan van de fans verwachten. gisteren kwamen wij er nog maar net uit. laat staan wat nieuwe fans er wel niet van moeten denken.

    Het zal wel aan mij liggen, maar er is echt niks moeilijks aan deze regels. Dat de fans (hierboven) weer aan het zeiken zijn is dan weer typisch, ze vragen om een oplossing voor de banden (vrije banden keuze/tyre war), ze krijgen vrij bande keuze (met compromise, maar zo werkt dat) en dan is het nog niet goed.

    En anders wacht je maar gewoon tot de eerste race, en vel dan je oordeel.

      Is het op voorhand niet begrijpen vd regels en dit aangeven dan sowieso gezeik? Nee toch? Je kunt dit toch gewoon niet begrijpen ZONDER dat het gezeik is?

      Niet begrijpen is geen punt, dan wordt dat zo goed mogelijk uitgelegd of je doet zelf wat onderzoek. Maar dat melden kan ook zonder dat het gepaard gaat met vooroordelen (terwijl je er naar eigen zeggen niks van begrijpt), sarcasme of een neerbuigende toon. Zoals hierboven wel het geval is.
