Massa kruipt in eerste Formule 1-auto van Senna

Felipe Massa zal zondag bij de Autosport International Show een demo verzorgen met de Williams FW08C. Een hele eer voor de Braziliaan, aangezien dat de bolide is waarmee zijn legendarische landgenoot Ayrton Senna zijn eerste meters in een Formule 1-wagen aflegde.

Williams is sterk vertegenwoordig bij de Autosport International Show. Vice-teambaas Claire Williams zal zaterdag de fans toespreken en ook Rob Smedley en Pat Symonds zullen hun visie delen met de bezoekers. De Britse renstal bouwt de motorhome op in Birmingham en oud-coureur Damon Hill wordt herenigd met de FW18, de auto waarmee hij in 1996 de wereldtitel won.

    veruit de beste wagen van het veld was die FW18, bij Williams zullen ze met weemoed terugdenken aan die tijden.
    En pff wat was die 96er Ferrari toch lelijk zeg, je kunt het net niet op bovenstaande foto zien maar naar mijn mening de lelijkste Ferrari aller tijden..

      Hij was nog mooi toen de neus nog laag was. Toen hij na een paar races veranderd werd en de neus hoog was, toen vond ik de auto ook niet mooi meer.

      met lage neus was hij iets minder lelijk, laat ik het zo maar zeggen dan.
      Voor mij als fan was het even schrikken na die schitterende 412T2 in ieder geval ;)

      ik had overigens niets tegen op een hoge neus, vond de Ferrari van 97 best aardig

      Ik heb even gegoogled maar potdomme inderdaad; die variant met die hoge neus...Het woord 'gedrocht' is volgens mij speciaal verzonnen voor deze wagen.
      En toch...leuk dat de wagens zo ontzettend verschillend waren!

      De knapste Ferrari was de sharknose uit 1961 en dan vond ik de 312B uit 1970 waarmee Ickx reed ook super gaaf, dan de 641 uit 1990 en dan de 412T2 waarmee Alesi zijn enige race won in 1995 in Canada
