Max Verstappen heeft al zin in eigen evenement

Circuit Park Zandvoort is op 4 en 5 juni het domein voor de 'Familie Racedagen, driven by Max Verstappen'. Vandaag vond de presentatie van het evenement plaats in Zandvoort. Max Verstappen is uiteraard de grootste attractie bij zijn eigen evenement, maar met een kinderkartbaan, reuzenrad, stuntshows en diverse muzikale optredens wordt het een evenement voor alle leeftijden.

Jumbo en Circuit Park Zandvoort organiseren – samen met Red Bull Nederland en Verstappen Management – de 'Familie Racedagen, driven by Max Verstappen'. "De Formule 1 was zelden zo populair bij het grote publiek, met dank aan Max. Het is fantastisch om te zien hoe hij de autosport zo dichtbij het grote publiek brengt en Nederland trots maakt", zegt Erik Weijers, directeur van Circuit Park Zandvoort.

Max Verstappen kijkt uit naar het evenement. Op Verstappen.nl zegt hij: "Met een Formule 1-auto een demonstratie en show weggeven is altijd leuk, helemaal nu dat voor het thuispubliek in Zandvoort is. Ik doe mijn best om tijdens de Familie Racedagen alle fans en bezoekers veel plezier te bezorgen. Ik verheug mij erop!"

Frits van Eerd, algemeen directeur bij Jumbo en één van de partners van Verstappen: "Bij Jumbo hebben we van jongs af aan in Max geloofd en herkennen we ons in zijn winnaarsmentaliteit en zijn drive om elke dag beter te worden. Met dit evenement brengen we de bijzondere sfeer van het racen en het circuit nóg dichterbij en geven we onze klanten een gratis dagje uit voor de hele familie."

    Maar dan wel graag met de V8.....dan hebben ze echte beleving. Want met muzikale optredens hoor je die huidige V6 echt niet :)

      Ben in '98 naar CPZ geweest toen het Williams team demo's gaf met Schumacher en Zanardi en in 2000 en 2001 geweest toen Jos daar met zn Arrows reed, dat waren pas geluiden, die V8 was ook wel aardig. V6 zie ik nog niet snel gebruikt worden voor demo's, lijkt me net zo spannend als langs de snelweg gaan staan

      Vorig jaar reden ze bij Italia a Zandvoort met de V12, V10, V8. Was mooi om te zien en horen. Een Ferrari V12, Die oude Minardi V10 en Volgens mij de RB6.

      In 98 op CPZ was ik er ook bij. Dat was voor mij de eerste keer dat ik een F1 wagen "Live" hoorde. Strakblauwe lucht 30 graden en ik had kippenvel :) . Zo klinken ze al heel lang niet meer helaas.

      Vaak zijn die demo's met auto's van 2 jaar oud, dus dat zou betekenen dat het goed mogelijk is dat er wel met een moderne motor gereden wordt.

    De kinderen zouden het geweldig vinden om hun idool te ontmoeten. Vrees echter dat het "een dag lang" in de rij staan gaat worden... Eerst bij het OV, dan de kassa. Daarna bij het reuzerad, voor een handtekening van Max. In de rij wachten om een rondje te karten, en tenslotte weer in de rij naar huis...

    Heeft iemand een betere tip om een dagje met de kinderen naar het racen te gaan? Twee jaar geleden zijn we naar Zolder geweest, was een geweldige racedag! Diverse races gezien, helaas alleen geen F1 maar we mochten bijna overal een kijkje nemen.

      Timeattack is met kids ook nog wel een leuk alternatief (net wat anders maar daar hebben de heren coureurs wel aandacht voor je kinderen!)

      Wat ik bijna elk jaar deed was naar de WSR 3.5 gaan. Die hebben 1 keer per jaar een open dag. Zo kan je dan letterlijk overal komen. Zo kan je in de paddock komen. en het mooiste is nog: Toegang is gratis. Alleen nu het niet meer door Renault gepromoot wordt, weet ik niet of dit nog gedaan wordt.

      Een middweek in Center Parcs in Zandvoort. Ok er is niets speciaals maar je kan wel gewoon het Circuit op en af in de pits kijken. En als je geluk hebt mag je vast wel met iemand mee rijden. Er is daar altijd wel wat te doen.

      @MAXXX: Renault Worldseries 3.5 is als onderdeel verwijderd uit de Renault Worldseries Evenementen. Tegenwoordig heet het Renault Sport Series Meeting. Net als vroeger zijn het 6 weekenden op verschillende circuits en niet 1x per jaar. Ze rijden er nog steeds met de Renault 2.0, Renault Clio's, en de RS01. Ik verwacht dat ze er ook nog steeds gedurende het weekend demonstraties met een F1 auto doen.

      wsr bestaat nog wel maar is echt een uitgeklede versie helaas. Ik zou naar de wec of f3 in spa gaan, gewoon betaalbaar en je kan op heel veel plekken komen.
      of naar zandvoort en dan de klassieke f1 dat is ook echt super

    Max is goud voor Red Bull, wat die allemaal teweeg brengt is ongelofelijk, die laten ze de eerste jaren niet meer gaan, Max is kassa!

    Jammer dat pretpark achtige gedoe ..... Zal wel een commercieel gedrocht van jumbo zijn... Na ja ,leuk voor kleuters en mensen die anders toch uitsluitend naar de meubelboulevard gaan in hun vrijetijd, kan dit er ook wel bij....
