Red Bull Racing heeft het vandaag uitgeprobeerde 'aeroscreen' eerst uitvoerig getest voordat ze het op de auto monteerden voor een echte sessie. Projectielen als een band en een gewicht van 1 kilo zijn op het aeroscreen afgevuurd. Het systeem doorstond de tests met vlag en wimpel, waarna Daniel Ricciardo er vandaag in de eerste vrije training in Rusland een rondje mee reed.
