Grosjean eert Bianchi in helmdesign voor Monaco

Haas F1 Team-coureur Romain Grosjean heeft een bijzondere helm voor de Grand Prix van Monaco van komend weekend. De Fransman brengt een eerbetoon aan zijn vorig jaar overleden landgenoot Jules Bianchi. Bianchi bezweek op 17 juli aan de gevolgen van zijn crash tijdens de Japanse Grand Prix van 2014. Eerder dat jaar had hij in Monaco zijn enige punten in de Formule 1 gescoord. Grosjean eert Bianchi met een verwijzing naar die prestatie en een beeltenis achter op zijn helm.

      Zijn moeder is Frans en hij is in bezit van twee nationaliteiten (Zwitsers en Frans).

      Hij is in Zwitserland geboren maar rijd onder een Franse racelicentie, net als Max Verstappen die in België is geboren maar onder een Nederlandse licentie racet.

    Hoe zit het ook alweer met de helm designs, die mogen niet meer elke race aangepast worden toch?
    Maakt de aktie van Grosjean des te beter.

      Ze mogen in ieder geval niet significant afwijken van het "ingediende" design. Net als Vettel die ook vorig jaar zijn design wel hetzelfde hield, maar toch per race dingen aapaste (goed voorbeeld is zijn 2015 helm in Japan). En veel coureurs wijzigen ook dingen aan de achterzijde van de helm, die je vanuit de auto niet ziet. Ook daar is de rode achterkant van Vettel's helm in Spanje weer een mooi voorbeeld van. En ook dit design heeft natuurlijk de wijziging aan de achterkant.

    'respect' voor wat?
    Ik kan daar zo slecht tegen he. Je hebt Grosjean vrijwel nooit gehoord over Bianchi of de veiligheid in de F1.
    Maar nu zet ie een plaatje van Jules er op en krijgt ie respect? Nou, niet van mij.
    Dit riekt naar tekort aan aandacht en een knuffel naar Ferrari waar Bianchi voor klaargestoomd werd.
