Schaatser daagt Verstappen uit voor race op ijs

Schaatser Kjeld Nuis is geïnspireerd geraakt door de Red Bull-actie 'Racemetmax.nl' en hij heeft Max Verstappen via Twitter uitgedaagd voor een wedstrijdje op ijs deze winter. Aangezien beiden ervoor open staan wordt er nu serieus werk van gemaakt.

Nuis liet aan Schaatsen.nl weten: "Er wordt serieus aan gewerkt om dat plaats te laten vinden, maar ik kan er nog niet heel veel over zeggen. Mede vanuit Red Bull worden er nu dingen op papier gezet. Er is al een powerpoint-presentatie gemaakt waarvan ik gisteren de eerste foto's heb gezien. Dat ziet er heel leuk uit moet ik zeggen."

Red Bull werkte vorig jaar al samen met Nuis voor Kjelds Vliegende Start, een afvalrace waarbij Nuis het tempo bepaalde totdat er nog maar vier schaatsers over waren, die vervolgens met elkaar om de zege moesten strijden.
