Jos Verstappen: "Max was heel sterk met verdedigen tegen Rosberg"

Jos Verstappen werd jarenlang herinnerd als Nederlands beste Formule 1-coureur ooit. Langzaamaan begint dat te veranderen in ‘de vader van’. Na de race vond Jack Plooij van Ziggo Jos Verstappen onder het podium, wachtend op de ceremonie.

Verstappen senior vertelde: "Dit begint zeker niet gewoon te worden. Het was heel tricky op intermediates en slicks. Ik vond Max ontzettend sterk rijden, ook richting Rosberg toe met het verdedigen. Dit was weer een superrace!"
