Motor Fernando Alonso wordt vervangen tijdens tweede vrije training

Fernando Alonso zal voorlopig in de pitstraat blijven staat tijdens de tweede vrije training. De motor van de McLaren wordt op dit moment vervangen.

Vlak voor de start van de tweede vrije training stond Alonso zonder overall aan naast zijn auto. De reden is dus een vervanging van de krachtbron van zijn McLaren. Dat komt hem echter niet op een straf te staan, omdat hij een motor in de auto laat zetten die al eerder dit seizoen gebruikt is. Daardoor valt de motor ook binnen de vijf motoren die er per seizoen gebruikt mogen worden.
