Williams in Duitsland terug in vorm met pitstops

Het team van Williams moest de eer voor de DHL Fastest Pit Stop Award in Groot-Brittannië en Hongarije laten aan Mercedes, maar in Duitsland was de Britse renstal weer het snelst met banden verwisselen. Een van de pitstops van Felipe Massa duurde slechts twee seconden. Red Bull Racing en Max Verstappen komen ook in de top vijf voor met een stop van 2,28 seconden.

Pitstops hebben ze al een tijdje onder de knie en zit de ontwikkeling van de auto niet in de weg.

De problemen met de auto lijken te fundamenteel om in dit seizoen op te lossen.
