Nasr vraagt steuntje in de rug voor Renault-zitje

Felipe Nasr hoopt volgend jaar voor Renault uit te komen. De Braziliaan bracht recent een bezoek aan interim-president Michel Temer. Dat was niet alleen voor een kennismaking, bericht O Globo. Nasr had onder andere zijn manager Steve Robertson meegenomen.

Daarnaast behoorde ook een official van de staat Parana tot het entourage van de Braziliaan. In Parana staat een fabriek voor straatauto's van Renault. Volgens O Globo vroeg Nasr in het onderhoud met Temer om een steuntje in de rug om een transfer naar Renault mogelijk te maken.

Nasr is bezig aan zijn tweede seizoen in de Formule 1. In zijn debuutseizoen scoorde hij 27 punten. Daar kon hij in 2016 nog geen punten aan toevoegen.
