Kevin Magnussen heeft de medische keuring van de artsen van de internationale autosportbond FIA doorstaan en mag daardoor komend weekend in Monza gewoon racen. De Renault-coureur crashte hard tijdens de Belgische Grand Prix van zondag, maar hij behalve wat blauwe plekken hield de Deen niets over aan zijn schuiver bovenaan de heuvel bij Raidillon. Magnussen is nu officieel fit bevonden en heeft toestemming om deel te nemen aan de Grand Prix van Italië.
