Video: De nalatenschap van Fernando Alonso

McLaren-coureur Fernando Alonso bevindt zich in de herfst van zijn Formule 1-loopbaan. Met zijn 35 jaar behoort de Spanjaard tot de oudere rijders op de grid. De tweevoudig wereldkampioen heeft al nagedacht over zijn erfenis. In Oviedo heeft hij naast een museum een kartcircuit aan laten leggen, voor de volgende generatie talentvolle Spaanse coureurs.

      Zoals hij in de video zegt: toen hij kartte was er niets en hij moest naar Italië. Nu kan het ook in Spanje. Dat drukt sowieso de kosten. Daarnaast is er de werkgelegenheid van de baan en het museum.

      @james Natuurlijk volkomen geleuter. Zelf heb ik al in de jaren 90 gekart in Spanje, daar hoef je echt niet voor naar Italie. Voorts ligt er nog een kartcircuit om de hoek, Circuito de Asturias.

    In 2001 viel hij me nog niet zo op, maar sinds 2003 is Alonso al mijn F1-held. Niet alleen door zijn wereldkampioenschappen, maar ook door de persoon, daar kan geen Rosberg, Hamilton of Vettel tegenop.

      Volledig met eens COLANDO, Fernando is ook mijn favoriet op de grid sinds zijn begin, hij heeft een fighting-spirit dat vele anderen niet hebben en hij is effectief ook een idool voor vele jongeren in Spanje, en wat CARAMBA zegt is niet relevant... jongeren willen zich identificeren met helden en dan nog liefst op de plek waar deze alles heeft klaar staan voor hen, BRAVO Fernando!
