Alonso fungeert als cameraman na stilvallen in VT2

McLaren-coureur Fernando Alonso kreeg vorig jaar in Brazilië de lachers op zijn hand door voor het oog van de camera op een klapstoeltje te gaan zitten en te genieten van de Braziliaanse zon. De McLaren-coureur viel toen in de kwalificatie voor de zoveelste keer stil met een kapotte Honda-motor.

Ook dit jaar laat Alonso zien gevoel voor humor te hebben. In de tweede vrije training riep McLaren hem op zijn bolide uit voorzorg stil te zetten langs het circuit. Eerst werden de marshalls geholpen met het bergen van de gestrande McLaren en vervolgens kroop Alonso achter de camera om beelden te maken van de actie op Interlagos.
