Red Bull Racing-coureur Max Verstappen is iemand van de nieuwe generatie en maakt dus ook volop gebruik van social media als Twitter, Facebook en Instagram. Na de Belgische Grand Prix op het circuit van Spa-Francorchamps, waarin hij het aan de stok kreeg met beide Ferrari-rijders, kreeg hij ook via die kanalen het nodige te verduren. Verstappen had het toen wel even gehad met social media.

      Ik denk dat hij bedoelt dat Max er goed aan deed was censuur toe te passen bij het lezen van de posts.

      Ik snap werkelijk sommige van jullie niet. Wat heeft het niet actief willen zijn op social media met censuur te maken? Hij censureerde alleen zichzelf. Jullie mochten roepen en lezen wat jullie willen. Het is niet zo dat Max berichten heeft verwijderd van jullie op social media. Of mensen in de bak laten gooien zoals in Turkije gebeurd.

      Misschien eerst eens verdiepen in wat censuur is?

      @REMEDY81 en dan nog blijft het vreemd om deze opmerking te maken nu het Europees Parlement juist deze week een resolutie heeft aangenomen om alle anti-EU media te gaan blokkeren om dat deze zogenaamd nep nieuw zouden verspreiden wat schadelijk is voor de heersende elite.

    De kritiek op Verstappen was voornamelijk vanwege de verdedigende actie na Raidillon op het rechte stuk van Kemmel.

    Die was misschien wel over het randje, maar er wordt vaak vergeten dat Raikkonen hier alleen een aanval kon maken omdat Raikkonen pas vlak voor de busstop zijn positie teruggaf aan Verstappen nadat hij die plek had gewonnen door in Les Combes buiten de baan in te halen.

    Voor de crash in bocht 1 had Vettel misschien ook een straf mogen krijgen.

    Begrijpelijk. Ik heb en doe zelf helemaal niets met de asociale media. Dat Max dat wel doet om contact te houden met z'n fans is logisch. Maar de manier waarop mensen vrij anoniem op bijzonder onbeschofte wijze anderen schofferen is iets wat mij altijd tegen heeft gestaan. Kijk wat de 'sociale' media Sylvana Simons hebben gebracht. Eens off oneens, in real life ga je ook niet als een debiel tekeer tegen iemand die je niet kent. Dat zou de 'çode' moeten worden voor gedrag op social media.

    Ik vind het geweldig hoe max met alles om lijkt te gaan. Het laat hem allemaal koud, zo oogt hij althans. Nu blijkt wel dat het niet he-le-maal zo is, wat ook logisch is. Hij is een mens, geen robot. Ook na de GP van Brazilie, waar hij de hele weer de hemel in werd geprezen, knappe jongen , dat je dan zo beheerst blijft.

      Na negatief commentaar van bijvoorbeeld Jakkes Villekneus hoor je VES niet in de aanval gaan maar als hij verheerlijkt wordt zoals na Brazilie dan blijft hij er ook lekker nuchter onder. Dat is met die voetballers wel anders. Het is echt super knap voor iemand van 19 jaar. Maar volgens mij ook de enige juiste manier om scherp te blijven en objectief naar jezelf te zijn. Ik zou op die leeftijd veel onprofessioneler reageren of denken ik ga die JV op z`n bek timmeren.
