Toro Rosso-coureur Daniil Kvyat kende gisteren een dramatische dag op het Yas Marina Circuit. De Rus reed over drie uur trainen slechts acht ronden. Kvyat kreeg in beide sessies te maken met een lekke band. In de eerste sessie gebeurde het na de ingang van de pits, in de tweede training wist Kvyat de auto wonderwel uit de bandenstapels te houden.

Voor Toro Rosso zat de dag er na de tweede lekke band van Kvyat wel gelijk op. Teamgenoot Carlos Sainz Jr. werd namelijk ook uit voorzorg binnen gehouden. Bekijk hieronder de beelden van de spin van Kvyat:
