Het team van Mercedes staat op het punt om Valtteri Bottas als nieuwe coureur te presenteren. De Fin vult de leegte op die kampioen Nico Rosberg achter heeft gelaten. Bottas zal in 2017 een koppel vormen met Lewis Hamilton. Bekijk de presentatie live via de stream die Mercedes beschikbaar heeft gesteld.

    Die leegte word denk ik met Bottas beter benieuwd angshaas dat het is.

      Labiel figuur als Maldonado? Geen schijn van kans.
      Past ook niet bij Mercedes. Als ze Wehrlein al niet nemen, dan Maldonado al helemaal niet. Bottas past prima binnen de Duitse cultuur. Als Bottas het een beetje goed doet, dan is het na volgend jaar ook einde oefening voor Hamilton bij Mercedes. Die willen ze nu eigenlijk al kwijt, maar de Brit is nog steeds populair wereldwijd.

    Voor Bottas een mooie kans. Ik vind hem echt een goede coureur, heeft helaas niet altijd de juiste auto gehad waarmee hij echt wat kon laten zien. Overigens straalt hij weinig uit.... Zal wel iets "fins" zijn....
