Alle teams door nieuwe vleugeltest

Red Bull Racing, Ferrari en McLaren zijn allen door de nieuwe vleugeltest van de FIA gekomen. De nieuwe tests zijn geïntroduceerd door de FIA om een einde te maken aan de voortdurende controverse over teams die mogelijk zouden valsspelen door het gebruik van bewegende voorvleugels. De betrokken teams hebben aangegeven dat ze veranderingen hebben doorgevoerd om aan de tests te voldoen, maar dat dit geen invloed heeft gehad op hun prestaties.

De FIA controleerde de McLaren al na de vrijdagtrainingen en na de kwalificatie op zaterdag gingen de auto's van Jenson Button, Mark Webber en Fernando Alonso door de screening. De FIA heeft vervolgens verklaard dat alle auto's voldeden aan de voorgeschreven reglementen en dat geen van de overige teams protest heeft ingediend.
