Williams enthousiast over de line-up voor 2017

De line-up van Williams bestaat komend seizoen uit een ervaren rot en een jong broekie. Routinier Felipe Massa stelde zijn pensioen uit en de Braziliaan krijgt gezelschap van debutant Lance Stroll. Vice-teambaas Claire Williams is zeer enthousiast over het rijdersduo voor 2017. "We beschikken over een opwindende line-up."

    Tsja, ze kunnen natuurlijk moeilijk wat anders beweren over hun eigen team, nog voor het seizoen zelfs maar begonnen is ...

      Ti's zoiets als roepen dat je blij bent 5 tientjes te winnen in Miljoennenjacht. "want ik ben met niet gekomen" tsja....

      Laten we gewoon eerlijk blijven en zeggen dat die in deze spreekwoordelijke " 5 tientjes" gewoon erg teleurstellend zijn op voorhand.

      Is er serieus... een oprechte vraag.. iemand hier die wild wordt van Massa en Stroll?

      Ik in ieder geval niet ! Kan me ook op geen mogelijkheid voorstellen dat ze die 2 uit sportief oogpunt hebben. Gewoon geld en geen andere opties.

      Ze doen in ieder geval hun best om te laten horen hoe enthousiast ze over hun line-up zijn. Dit is ongeveer de tiende keer dat nagenoeg hetzelfde bericht voorbij komt... Word tijd dat we gaan rijden!

      Precies, het is goed om te vernemen dat de relatie teambaas-coureurs over zo’n enorm lange periode van twee weken intact blijft. Dat schept ook vertrouwen naar de nabije toekomst als de heren hun bolides in muurtjes en bandenstapels zouden planten.

    Al die miljoenen van papa Stroll zouden mij ook opwinden idd.

    Ik ben benieuwd wat Stroll gaat presteren. Massa zal, net als de afgelopen seizoen, wel weer redelijk kleurloos zijn.

    Iemand eerst terugfluiten omdat je er afstand van wilde doen is al teken van zwakte en die ander is teken van overleven. Hopelijk wordt het wat met dit historische team.
