Jolyon Palmer heeft vandaag zijn eerste ervaringen met de nieuwe auto van Renault opgedaan. De Brit kroop in de RS17 voor een filmdag op het Circuit de Catalunya nabij Barcelona. Palmer verrichtte zelfs een wat langere run van vijftien ronden op het kortere 'nationale circuit', met rondetijden van rond de 59 seconden (handgeklokt, red.). Na afloop sprak hij voor de camera van Renault over zijn eerste indrukken van de RS17.
