Video's: Spectaculaire startcrashes en koprollen in Formule 2 en World Series

Hoewel de Formule 1 dit weekend niet in actie komt, zijn er genoeg andere autosport klassen die wel hun kampioenschapsraces rijden. Zo komt de Formule 2 uit in Valencia in het voorprogramma van het WTCC. De World Series rijden op Silverstone.

Kazim Vasiliauskas kreeg een tik in de eerste bocht, tijdens de Formule 2-race eerder vanmiddag in Valencia. Hij maakte enkele koprollen maar kwam gelukkig ongedeerd uit zijn bolide.

Daniel Ricciardo, uitkomend in de World Series by Renault, werd getorpedeerd bij de start door John Lancaster. Lancaster kende een slechte start, wilde zijn pole position verdedigen waarbij hij in een spin terecht kwam en Ricciardo het slachtoffer.

    In Spa zag je een Red Bull auto hetgeen doen waardoor deze Red Bull auto uitviel. Wat een domme actie om zo te slingeren bij de strart.

    Misschien moet je \'t filmpje nog een keer kijken, want is absoluut geen bewuste actie, hij gaat naar rechts om z\'n positie te verdedingen, en verliest de achterkant van z\'n auto daarbij waardoor die weer naar links schiet...

      Nee, ik snap dat die actie niet bewust is, net zoals die van Vettel dat ook niet was. Maarja, je achterkant verliezen op een recht stuk mag toch (zoals bij Vettel dus, verschil dat dat gebeurde op het aanrem punt) dom genoemd worden niet?

      Nee, want als je snel van richting verandert dan bestaat de kans dat zoiets gebeurt. Vettel moest in Spa snel naar de linkerkant om niet in Button\'s achterkant te zitten, maar hij verloor zijn wagen en boem in de zijkant van Button.

    Geef Daniel Ricciardo even het mobiele nummer van Michael Schumacher, hij kan Michael vragen hoe zo\'n start moet.

    Mr Marly, WSR auto\'s hebben veel PK\'s en geen traction control dus op een recht stuk je auto verliezen vind ik niet dom. In de herhaling zie je dat de pole sitter moest uitwijken en daarom de auto verloor. Ongelukkig vind ik daardoor meer gepast.
