Ferrari en Alonso niet bezorgd over motorverbruik

Ferrari-coureur Fernando Alonso is reeds toe aan zijn achtste motor. Een negende krachtbron inzetten betekent een grid penalty van tien startplekken. Dat zou niet goed uitkomen in de jacht van Alonso en Ferrari op de titel. De coureur en het team maken zich echter geen zorgen.

Alonso in O Estado de S.Paulo: Er is geen aanleiding om bezorgd te zijn over de motoren. We kunnen onze krachtbronnen ook meer races gebruiken. En we hebben geen circuits meer voor de boeg waar we het grootste deel van de ronde volgas rijden. Teambaas Stefano Domenicali deelt die mening. Althans, voor Singapore. Dat is een stratencircuit, daar zijn de motoren niet zo belangrijk.
