Sean Gelael testcoureur voor Scuderia Toro Rosso

Scuderia Toro Rosso heeft Sean Gelael aangetrokken als testrijder. De 20-jarige Indonesiër zal bij de in-season tests in Bahrein en Hongarije in de week na de Grand Prix en bij de test na afloop van het seizoen in Abu Dhabi in actie komen voor het opleidingsteam van Red Bull. Zijn stoeltje is inmiddels al geschuimd in de fabriek in Faenza. Gelael combineert zijn werkzaamheden voor Toro Rosso dit jaar met racen in de Formule 2 voor het team van Arden.

Ik denk dat zijn achternaam ongeveer klinkt alsof een bal uit de Grachtengordel 'gelul' zegt. Verder nogal verrast, aangezien de Red Bull-familie toch altijd zo van de talenten is.

    Hij rijd in de gp2 als een pannekoek dus t heeft weer eens met Jagonya Ayam geld te maken...

      misschien is het zo dat als iemand bij je aan komt kloppen met een zak geld om te mogen testen dat je toch ben geneigd ja te zeggen? niemand laat een zak met geld naar de concurrent gaan toch? en racen in de formule 1 zal hij toch niet doen, daar gebruikt TR de Red Bull opleiding talenten voor. denk ook dat het komt omdat Gasly in japan rond gaat rijden dat hij niet altijd kan testen voor TR.

      Klopt maar ze hebben een gat in de opleiding er zijn coureurs in de eigen opleiding die een superlicentie hebben behalve Gasly en die is bezig met super formula. Dus een mogelijkheid om geld op te halen met Galael.

      @HARCO SORBATO denk eerder dat Gasly dan die testen voor Redbull doet. In de aangegven testen moet je volgens mij verplicht 1 dag per keer met een coureur rijden die niet je vaste coureur is en die niet meer dan een x aantal races in de F1 heeft gereden...

    gister de DVD F1 How it was (uitgekomen in 2016 geloof ik) bekeken. Wat een onwijs kneiter gave beelden!

    Mochten jullie ook nog dit soort dvd's weten ; laat het weten :)

      Grandprix Zandvoort boek + DVD combinatie. leuk om te zien, maar had wel langer mogen duren van mij, gewoon alle racen van ieder jaar in z'n geheel er op zetten bijvoorbeeld. toch geen spijt van de aankoop, en het boek zit vol mooie foto's. als je het op de Historic Grandprix koopt krijg je korting (is hij 75 euro geloof ik)
