Lewis Hamilton gaf vandaag zijn visitekaartje af in Melbourne. Zowel in eerste als tweede vrije training zette hij de snelste tijd neer. Een tijd die met 1:23:620 ruim twee tienden onder de pole van vorig jaar lag.

Na de eerste dag was er tijd voor de fans en nam hij de kijkers op Facebook live mee door de vertrekken van Mercedes. Hij geeft toelichting op zijn helmen, laat de kamer van Toto Wolff zien en loopt de keuken in. Pak een bak koffie en ga er rustig voor zitten bij deze 7 minuten durende video.
