Robin Frijns weer voor Audi in de Blancpain Series

Robin Frijns combineert zijn verplichtingen voor Andretti Autosport in de Formule E dit jaar opnieuw met racen in de Blancpain Series. De Nederlander bemant in 2017 wederom een van de Audi R8 LMS-auto's van Team WRT in de sportwagenserie.

Frijns vormt in de Blancpain Sprint Cup een duo met Stuart Leonard en voor de Endurance Cup krijgt dat tweetal gezelschap van Jake Dennis. De line-up van Audi WRT bevat dit jaar een tweede Nederlander. Pieter Schothorst is overgekomen uit de Renault Sport Trophy en bundelt de krachten in de Blancpain Sprint Cup met Dennis.
