De livery van Robin Frijns voor Blancpain Series

Robin Frijns maakt dit seizoen weer onderdeel uit van de line-up van Audi Team WRT in de Blancpain Series. De Nederlander bestuurt zodoende weer een Audi R8 LMS in 2017. Hij vormt in de Blancpain Sprint Cup een duo met Stuart Leonard en voor de Endurance Cup krijgt dat tweetal gezelschap van Jake Dennis. Dit is de livery van de auto van Frijns voor de Blancpain Series. Zijn helm zal een soortgelijke kleurstelling krijgen.

Frijns rijdt daarnaast voor Andretti Autosport in de Formule E. Dat seizoen krijgt komend weekend een vervolg met de ePrix in Mexico City. Het is de vierde ronde van het seizoen 2016/2017. Frijns scoorde alleen in de eerste race van de jaargang punten en met acht punten bezet hij de achtste plaats in de tussenstand. Ziggo Sport Totaal doet dit weekend verslag van de kwalificatie en de race in Mexico. De kwalificatie begint zaterdag op 20.00 uur, de race vangt zondag om 00.00 uur aan.

Door die verplichtingen in de Formule E mist Frijns overigens de opening van het Blancpain Sprint Cup-seizoen op Misano dit weekend. De Nederlander zal wel van de partij zijn bij de eerste race in de Blancpain Endurance Cup later in april op het circuit van Monza. Hij zal tevens namens WRT uitkomen in de 24 uur van de Nürburgring. Ter voorbereiding op dat evenement neemt hij waarschijnlijk enkele VLN-races voor zijn rekening.
