Ferrari neemt Sauber-aanwinst Perez op in opleidingsprogramma

Ferrari heeft bekend gemaakt dat Sergio Perez onderdeel gaat uitmaken van het ontwikkelingsprogramma voor jonge talenten. De Mexicaan debuteert volgend jaar in de Formule 1 voor het team van Sauber, dat Ferrari-motoren gebruikt.

Perez staat momenteel tweede in het GP2-kampioenschap, waarin de titel al is vergeven aan Pastor Maldonado. De 20-jarige coureur treedt toe tot de Ferrari Driver Academy, wat hem toegang tot de faciliteiten op de Ferrari-fabriek in Maranello verschaft.
