Max Verstappen 7 keer op circuit Zandvoort tijdens racedagen

Het circuit van Zandvoort heeft het tijdschema voor de Jumbo Racedagen bekend gemaakt. Uit het schema valt op te maken dat Red Bull-coureur Max Verstappen maar liefst zeven keer in actie komt tijdens het driedaagse evenement. Vorig jaar trokken er tienduizenden racefans naar het circuit langs de Noord-Hollandse kust om hun held in actie te zien.

De verwachting is dat door het succes van de 19-jarige coureur het aantal toeschouwers nog hoger komt te liggen dan vorig jaar. Verstappen laat weten er zin aan te hebben: "Hopelijk is het weer goed en kunnen we er een mooie show van maken. Vorig jaar had ik het al druk, maar het zal dit jaar nog drukker worden."

Verstappen laat zijn kunsten zien op de zaterdag en de zondag. De eerste keer dat de jonge Nederlander de baan opgaat is op zaterdag 21 mei van 09:45 - 10:00 uur. Tussen 12:15 en 12:30 gaat de eenvoudig Grand Prix-winnaar voor zijn eerste demo-run. Aansluitend laat Verstappen zich zien op het podium. Tussen 14:35 en 14:50 geeft Verstappen zijn tweede en laatste demo-run van de dag. Op zondag 22 mei gaat Verstappen de baan op van 10:00 - 10:15 uur, 11:20 - 11:35 uur, 13:40 - 13:55 uur en de afsluitende demo is van 15:30 - 15:45 uur.

Het MXGP-team van Formule 1-coureur Kimi Raikkonen komt naar het TT-Circuit in Assen. De Finse autocoureur van Ferrari hoopt op 9 en 10 september, als de Motocross Grand Prix van Nederland plaatsvindt, zelf ook een bezoek brengen aan de Asser kathedraal van snelheid.

Weet dat het of topic is, maar wilde het even delen; )

Ik vindt het ook wel leuk dat ze er een programma omheen hebben wat de moeite waard is. Zoals de Supercar Challenge Prototype's maar ook en vooral de TCR Benelux. Grote namen als Tom Coronel en Huff etc, en teams als WRT, leuke auto's met fijn geluidje...
