Problemen met de auto van Valtteri Bottas, op tijd klaar voor VT3?

Problemen voor de Mercedes van Valtteri Bottas zo meldt Sky Sport F1 zojuist. Er zijn elektrische problemen met de wagen van de Fin.

Als de camera inzoomt op de auto zien de kijkers dat de auto helemaal gestript is. Het probleem zit erg diep in de auto en ze hebben er uren aan gewerkt. Inmiddels lijkt het opgelost en wordt de auto weer in elkaar gezet. Een kwartier voor het begin van de derde vrije training werd de versnellingsbak teruggeplaatst.

Gisteren was de winnaar van de Grand Prix van Rusland nog erg optimistisch, gaat hij het begin van VT3 halen?

Update: Er is vanochtend een nieuwe motor in geplaatst, maar die moest ook weer vervangen worden door een oude motor.

UPDATE: So we have put the previous Power Unit - used at the first four races - back into #VB77's car. We hope to get him out for #FP3 ?
