Zeer teleurstellende kwalificatie voor Williams

Het team van Williams moet hopen op een wonder wil het nog punten scoren in de Grand Prix van Monaco. Felipe Massa en Lance Stroll kenden beiden een slechte kwalificatie en starten de race als vijftiende en achttiende.

Felipe Massa spreekt van een zware sessie en zal de race als vijftiende aanvangen: "Het was een hele lastige sessie, eigenlijk zoals het altijd is in Monaco. Het voelt niet goed om zo ver naar achteren te starten en dat we worstelen met deze auto. Gelukkig gebeurt er nog wel eens wat in Monaco: het is zaak om daar van te profiteren. Hopelijk kan ik een goede race rijden."

Na zijn crash op donderdag deed Lance Stroll op zaterdag geen gekke dingen. De Canadees kreeg aan het einde van Q1 te maken met een hydraulisch probleem waardoor de achttiende plaats zijn deel is: "Ik moest helaas wat eerder stoppen vanwege een hydraulisch probleem. Ondanks het matige resultaat geniet ik van iedere ronde die ik hier mag rijden. Ik denk dat de auto goed genoeg was voor een plekje in Q2, de top tien is hier voor ons te hoog gegrepen. Hopelijk hebben we morgen een goede race."

En dan ook nog genieten $tro££?.. Omdat je in die auto mag rijden op Monaco, klinkt erg amateuristisch.. Ga wat anders doen met de c€ntjes van je pappie, maar maak Williams niet zo belachelijk a.u.b.
