Stoffel Vandoorne: "Positief weekend tot dusver"

Stoffel Vandoorne kende een degelijke kwalificatie op de Red Bull Ring en start de race morgen als dertiende. De Belgische McLaren-coureur sprak na Q2 motiverende woorden uit naaf zijn monteurs. Ook in gesprek met Jack Plooij is de Belg positief.

"Het ging best wel goed vandaag, je ziet dat we vooruitgang maken. In de kwalificatie had ik misschien nog iets sneller gekund, maar mijn rondje was niet foutloos. Het gaat de goede kant, maar we moeten hard blijven werken. Ik reed vandaag met de nieuwe motor, maar zoals je ziet was het verschil met Fernando Alonso nog steeds klein", aldus Stoffel Vandoorne.
