Mark Webber 110 procent klaar voor titelgevecht

Red Bull Racing-coureur Mark Webber voelt zich klaar voor de titelontknoping. De Australiër verloor in Zuid-Korea zijn koppositie door een eigen fout, maar dat heeft hij uit zijn hoofd gezet. De focus ligt op de eerstvolgende race, in Brazilië, en de achterstand op Fernando Alonso dichten.

Webber: Nu gaat het er om spannen. In acht dagen werken we twee Grands Prix af en na afloop van die periode is de wereldkampioen 2010 bekend. Groter en mooier dan dit wordt het niet en ik voel me 110 procent klaar voor het gevecht.

Na enkele races aan kop van het kampioenschap sta ik nu tweede. Fernando heeft elf punten voorsprong, maar met nog vijftig punten te verdelen is alles open. Ik verander mijn aanpak niet. Ik doe gewoon mijn best en zie aan het einde wel waar ik sta.
