Tijdens en na de Grand Prix van Groot-Brittannië op Silverstone circuleerden foto's van een jonge fan van Valtteri Bottas. Mercedes achterhaalde de naam van het jongetje en de gegevens van zijn familie. De Duitse renstal nodigde Oliver en zijn vader uit voor een bezoek aan Mercedes-Benz World. Daar kwam Bottas ook nog even om de hoek kijken om zijn fan de dag van zijn leven te bezorgen.
