Verstappen reikt bokaal uit bij de DTM op Zandvoort

Red Bull Racing-coureur Max Verstappen zal later deze maand te gast zijn bij de DTM op het circuit van Zandvoort. De Nederlander woont op zondag 20 augustus de laatste dag van het DTM-weekend in Nederland bij. Dat biedt hem ook de kans om een kijkje te nemen bij het Europees kampioenschap Formule 3, de klasse waarin hij in 2014 zelf furore maakte.

De Formule 3 staat in het voorprogramma van de DTM. Verstappen: "Ik verheug me erop om weer eens een DTM-race live te bekijken. De DTM op Zandvoort is altijd goed voor spektakel. Daarnaast is het leuk om weer eens bovenop de Formule 3-actie te zitten. Dat is een serie die ik nog steeds met meer dan gemiddelde belangstelling volg."

De Nederlander zal niet alleen toekijken. Verstappen zal ook op de grid geïnterviewd worden, in een cabrio een rondje over het circuit rijden en als kers op de taart mag hij na afloop van de tweede DTM-race op Zandvoort van dat weekend de bokaal aan de winnaar overhandigen.
