Leclerc vanaf Maleisië in trainingssessies voor Sauber

Charles Leclerc hoeft niet tot 2018 te wachten voordat hij voor het eerst namens Sauber in actie komt. Speed Week bericht dat de jonge Monegask bij de Maleisische Grand Prix de eerste vrije training voor de Zwitserse renstal voor zijn rekening neemt.

Het is de opmaat naar meer; Leclerc zal nog vijf keer een Grand Prix-sessie afwerken dit jaar. Naast Maleisië zal Sauber in de VS, Mexico, Brazilië en Abu Dhabi een beroep doen op het talent uit de Ferrari-opleiding. Leclerc voert momenteel de tussenstand in de Formule 2 aan.

Het laat zich raden wie bij Sauber plaats moet maken voor de Monegask. Pascal Wehrlein heeft geen toekomst bij de Zwitserse renstal en op deze manier kan Leclerc mooi wennen aan zijn werkomgeving voor 2018. Dit nieuws is echter nog niet bevestigd door team en coureur.

Ik ben benieuwd of Leclerc de eerste persoon gaat worden die daadwerklijk naar Ferrari hoofdmacht kan groeien?
Laat ze een keer de gok nemen gewoon 1 jaar bij Sauber stallen en dan als tweede rijder het laten proberen.
