Media overdrijven remproblemen bij Romain Grosjean

Haas F1 Team-coureur Romain Grosjean heeft minder last van remproblemen dan gedacht. Volgens de Fransman zijn de media er debet aan dat het beeld is ontstaan dat hij elk weekend klachten heeft over zijn remmen. Zo erg als de pers doet geloven is de situatie echt niet.

Grosjean deelde in Monza mede: "De media vormen het probleem voor de indruk die ze van mij schetsen. Aan het begin van het seizoen had ik misschien veel moeite met de remmen, maar na Bakoe of na Canada rijden we al met de onderdelen die we voor ogen hadden."

Haas F1 Team bekijkt per weekend of ze met remmen van Brembo of met remmen van Carbon Industries moeten rijden. "Tot dusver gaat dat goed. Het is lastig geweest om de juiste balans te vinden, maar het gaat beter. We zitten nog niet op 100 procent, maar de laatste tijd hebben we niet veel te klagen gehad", aldus Grosjean.
