Bandenleverancier Pirelli heeft bekendgemaakt welke keuzes de teams en rijders hebben gemaakt met betrekking tot de setjes banden voor de Grand Prix van Singapore. De Italiaanse bandenfabrikant stelt per weekend drie compounds beschikbaar, waarvan een coureur er in de race twee moeten gebruiken. Dit is het overzicht van de bandenselectie voor Singapore 2017.

    Dit overzicht klopt niet, iedereen heeft 13 sets banden terwijl de Mercs er slechts 10 hebben

      Dat heeft de FIA onlangs ingevoerd. De leider in het constructeurskampioenschap krijgt vanaf Singapore maar tien setjes banden.

      Vettel en Raikkonen staan op de front row. Max heeft een wereldstart vanaf de 5e plek en pakt na 3 bochten P2. Wat volgt is een intense battle, wheel to wheel tussen Vettel en Verstappen om de overwinning. Na veel gescheld op de boordradio's trekt toch Vettel aan het langste eind.
      Ricciardo pakt de 3e plek van Hamilton af in de laatste ronde door een do or die actie, de voorvleugel van Hamilton ligt er compleet af en hij verliest nog een plek aan Raikkonen. Bottas blijft er keurig achter.
      Ricciardo wordt bestraft door de wedstrijdleiding en krijgt door z'n strafseconden een 6e plek in de uitslag.

      @mag verslappen, deze voorspelling klinkt als muziek in de oren.
      Ik hoop ook dat Ferrari lees vettel de winst pakt, anders is het kampioenschap wel voorbij !
      Denk dat het Monaco en Hongarije replay is, Ferrari sterker dan Merc en RBR die er wellicht tussen kunnen treiteren.
