Fernando Alonso rijdt in Austin met zijn Indy 500-helm

McLaren-coureur Fernando Alonso heeft een speciale helm voor de Grand Prix van de Verenigde Staten van volgende week. De Spanjaard maakt gebruik van hetzelfde ontwerp waarmee hij in mei van dit jaar deelnam aan de Indy 500. De tweevoudig wereldkampioen Formule 1 brengt op die wijze een eerbetoon aan dat evenement en het is zijn manier om de Amerikaanse fans, voor wie hij zo misschien duidelijker herkenbaar is, te bedanken.
