Max Verstappen blikt vooruit op Austin voor Mobil 1 The Grid

Max Verstappen heeft twee uitstekende races achter de rug met de overwinning in Maleisië op zak en daarna een tweede plaats tijdens de Grand Prix van Japan. Het is logisch dat hij niet kan wachten om deze goede reeks een vervolg te geven te beginnen op COTA tijdens de Grand Prix van Amerika. 

Voor Mobil 1 The Grid neemt hij de kijker mee over het circuit en vertelt dat je in bocht 1 voorzichtig moet zijn en niet te laat moet remmen. Hij haalt nog even de goede feesten rond het circuit aan, maar zegt daarbij: "Ik kan alleen niet drinken, ik ben nog geen 21."

      Ja, de boete zal hij wel kunnen betalen: maar de andere mogelijke consequenties riskeert 'ie beter niet.

      Haha NEPPATSREV, waar haal je dat nou vandaan. Je moet minimaal 21 jaar zijn om in Amerika alcohol te kopen en drinken. Dit geldt voor alle alcohol. Geef Max gewoon een alcoholvrije fles Champagne op dat podium. Flink wat suiker erin, schijnt dat hij dat lekker vindt na een gewonnen race. :)

      @racer013, ik heb het even nagekeken, maar het kopen is overal verboden het consumeren verschilt hier en daar. De meerderheid heeft uitzonderingen die het toe laat.

      grappig trouwens, ik noemde mezelf altijd: rijder 13 , maar dat terzijde.

      Het klopt dat het per staat wat kan verschillen, maar de uitzonderingen waar je naat verwijst zijn in de meeste staten te verwaarlozen.

      Kortweg is alcohol consumeren jonger dan 21 simpelweg verboden.

      @ Mojito eerste wat ik oppik van google: "Although the minimum legal age to purchase alcohol is 21 in all states (see National Minimum Drinking Age Act), the legal details vary greatly. While a few states completely ban alcohol usage for people under 21, the majority have exceptions that permit consumption."

      Verdiep je dan maar eens wat meer in die uitzonderingen. In de meeste gevallen hebben die als gezegd namelijk niet gek veel om het lijf.

      Daarbij gaat het in dit geval ook nog eens specifiek over Texas.
