DHL Fastest Pit Stop Award in Mexico naar Mercedes

Alsof Mercedes nog niet genoeg te vieren had, legde de Duitse renstal in Mexico ook nog eens beslag op de DHL Fastest Pit Stop Award. Het team had tijdens de Mexicaanse Grand Prix slechts 2,19 seconden nodig om de banden van Valtteri Bottas te verwisselen.

Dat was twee honderdsten sneller dan Williams met de jarige job Lance Stroll. Daarna valt een groter gat naar de tweede Williams, de stop van Felipe Massa duurde 2,45 seconden. De enige pitstop van winnaar Max Verstappen ging in 2,75 seconden.
