Red Bull Racing produceerde snelste pitstop in Abu Dhabi

De Grand Prix van Abu Dhabi heeft Red Bull Racing nog een troostprijs opgeleverd. De Oostenrijkse renstal sleepte de DHL Fastest Pit Stop Award voor deze race in de wacht. Red Bull Racing had slechts 2,15 seconden nodig om de vier banden te verwisselen bij Max Verstappen.

Geen enkele andere pitcrew kwam daarbij in de buurt. Williams eindigde met een pitstop van 2,49 seconden op de tweede plaats. Mercedes, winnaar van het klassement om de DHL Fastest Pit Stop Award dit jaar, moest in Abu Dhabi genoegen nemen met posities zeven en tien.
