Lewis Hamilton in het zonnetje gezet bij BRDC Awards

Mercedes-coureur Lewis Hamilton wordt in deze periode overladen met awards. Ook bij de BRDC Awards viel hij in de prijzen. De Brit sleepte de John Wakefield Trophy en een Gold Star in de wacht voor zijn prestaties in de Formule 1 dit jaar. Hamilton veroverde in 2017 zijn vierde wereldtitel in de Formule 1. Ook McLaren-talent en Europees kampioen Formule 3 Lando Norris mocht awards mee naar huis nemen, namelijk de Richard Seaman-trofee en de Spencer Harrington-trofee.
